The Snackbar

Are you looking for advice on how to kick off your professional journey into web development? Or do you feel stuck in your Junior role, lost about what to learn next and how to keep growing? Maybe our new offering, The Snackbar, might be just what you need.

Cafe Robot has started as and always will be a community for code newbies. Over the past few years we were delighted to see our students moving into their first professional jobs and supported a bunch of people to shift their careers towards Web Development. We now want to build on that body of experience and offer individual mentoring sessions to help you on your way.

Mentoring sessions are 1on1s and will be offered in different length formats (30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours). You can decide to focus on one of three themes.

• Breaking into the industry: Where to start and how to get your foot into the door

• Personal Branding: How to create an ace profile and stand out in the job market

• Career Planning: How to map out, plan and track your professional development

What is a Snackbar?

Living in Amsterdam, the concept of a Snackbar is one of the first new things to discover while exploring the city. Global access to fried snacks seems to be a very relevant basic human right, so you will come across a multitude of Snackbars wherever you go. The offering ranges from fries over hot cheese pockets to spring rolls, of course always small enough to munch away in a blip.
